10% Neutral Buffered Formalin in Cubitainer

The 10% formalin solution is prepared by mixing formaldehyde with water at a 1:9 ratio. This aqueous formaldehyde solution exhibits strong permeability, uniform fixation, minimal tissue shrinkage, and effectively preserves lipids and lipoids, making it ideal for fixing fats, nerves, and myelin sheaths. The product contains a 0.02mol phosphate buffer, which enhances fixation performance—particularly for immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), FISH, mutation analysis, PCR, and next-generation sequencing (NGS)—while preventing formaldehyde pigment formation. Suitable for research laboratories, operating rooms, and pathology departments.
