Saliva (Sputum) DNA Sample Collection Kit

This product can be directly used for the collection, preservation and transportation of saliva or sputum samples, and stabilizes the Cell-Free DNA (cfDNA) or virus samples therein via the preservation solution. It is applicable to molecular diagnostic assays (including but not limited to Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) or branched DNA (bDNA) amplification technology), virus detection, or other in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tests using saliva samples.

◎ This product consists of a saliva collector (collection funnel + sample collection tube), a sample collection tube cap, and a preservation solution tube (pre-filled with 2mL of cfDNA preservation solution or virus sample preservation solution).

◎ It enables the collection, preservation and transportation of cfDNA or virus samples in saliva specimens at room temperature.

◎ For virus sample collection, different virus sample preservation solutions can be customized, such as Viral Transport Medium (VTM, pink), inactivator-containing preservation solution (colorless), or normal saline.

◎ For DNA sample collection, the pre-filled DNA preservation solution is compatible with various DNA extraction and purification kits, and can stably preserve cfDNA for up to 24 months at room temperature.

◎ The collection procedure is painless and non-invasive, and supports self-collection at home with higher convenience.

◎ The collection funnel features an ergonomic design that fits the contour of the human mouth, ensuring easy operation. The cap is equipped with a leak-proof gasket for tight sealing and leakage prevention.

◎ The product can be customized to be DNase-free,

Nase-free and pyrogen-free according to the application. 

Sterilization by Ethylene Oxide (EO) or irradiation is optional.
